Siglavy Capriola XIX

Hello, I would love to see some photos of this horse. I have a horse named Siglavy Capriola XIX -13 and I want to know everything about his father, but I can't find any information. Please help me!

  1. I have been told that the father is from Sambata de Jos and born in 1978 and my horse from Dalnic and born in 1997. But i can't find any information about him. The thing is that I don't know anything about the past in my horse life. It's the branding on his back that told me he was a lipizzan from Romania. So if anyone knows anything about my horse or his family that would be great. :)

  2. The Lipizzaner stallion Siglavy Capriola XIX was born in the Romanian state studfarm "Sambata de Jos" in 1984.

Sire: Siglavy Capriola XIII - dam: 442 Conversano XXII-68. Marefamily: Romanian Family Nr. 3 '410 Turtsy' (founder mare of this family was born in the private studfarm of Count Karolyi in Siebenburgen/Transsylvania in 1801)

Siglavy Capriola XIX was used in the former Romanian state owned studfarm of Dalnic/Dalnök in the years 1996-1998. In total he had around 20 foals, as far as I can trace. Your Siglavy Capriola XIX-13 was born in Dalnic in 1997.

Unfortunately I could not find a picture of Siglavy Capriola XIX.. Probably because he was not used very long in breeding. But you can contact the Romanian National Horse Breeding Authority (www.autoritateahipica.ro). Director Robert Bartha may help you with a picture.

  3. You do not have a pedigree or equine passport for your horse ??

  4. The thing is that somewhere on his trip to sweden he got the wrong passport. So all I do know is the pedigree you send me about a year ago or so. But I really want to know more about him and his family. I tried to send an email to someone (don't remember the name) but didn't get an answer. I tried to find information on the internet but couldn't find anything. But I will try to contact mr Bartha now. :)

Would love to know if the father was a good stallion and why he wasn't used for so long. Maybe he competed or did something else?

Sorry for the bad english. :)
