Lipizzaner mare Capriola on the event: Horses of the Sun

We showed a pas de deux on the long rein at the event "Paarden van de Zon". This is an event for the Andalusier, Lusitano and Lipizzaner Horses. With our 2 mares amongst a lot of stallions, my horse was a bit extreme!! But we really enjoyed the day!

  2. Nice pictures! ;-)

Capriola is a daughter of Conversano Nima-85 (Piber, 1971) - formerly trained by Mr. Krzisch - and the (black!) Topolcianky broodmare 216 Capriola (1971)

    C.Nima-85: s. 257 C.VII Valdamora - d. 94 Nima
    216 Capriola: s. C. I Ravata - d. Comtesa

  4. Hi Atjan, Conversano Nima was trained by Rider Christian Bachinger ;-)

  5. Thank you very much Atjan for your information about the parents of Capriola! She is indeed a daughter of Conversano Nima-85 and the black mare 216 Capriola :)

I recently found out that a half brother of Conversano Nima, Neapolitano Nima, still preforms in the Spanish Riding School? Is that correct?

And of course, thank you all for the compliments.

  7. No, Neapolitano Nima (trained by Rider Harrer) retired years ago and is now in Piber enjoying his life.

  8. No! Sorry, not this one! ;-)

    Christian's C.Nima was a different, younger stallion: 482 C.Nima (born 1982 - sire C.Sagana) !

This concerns the first C.Nima ever: C.Nima-85, (born 1971 - sire C.VII Valdamora).
(So he was a half brother to C.Roviga, C.Mantua, C.Sola)

He was trained by Klaus up to almost Quadrille-level. (Ask Franz - he could remember him, when I asked him once) Then one day around 1979 he was suddenly sold to Holland. I will tell you the story soon within 3 weeks, if you wish!

  9. This looks fantastic Regine, did anyone video this? Have you anymore pictures to download? I'm sure I saw N. Nima in the retirements stalls in Piber a few years ago. He was belting around the paddock and the stableman growled Nima ! Wait... I just checked my notebook and read Neapolitano Nima, born 11.4.79 / riders Harrer and Rostek / active 1988 to 2006 / toured Europe, Japan and USA.

  10. Atjan, I know a little bit of the story by the owner of Conversano Nima, but I'm curious. Will you e-mail me the story of Capriola's father? Thank you very much.

How nice that the half brother still lives in Piber. Are there maybe some pictures of him? And more imported are there pictures of Conversano Nima himself? I only have one picture of his head and I'm so curious of him!!

Basowizza thank you, unfortunately nobody has video taped this performance, but you can see me in this compilation video of shows we preformed in before.
