A yearly large horse event in Holland is called..... "Horse Event" [indeed a very original title ;-) ]
This year we were invited to represent the Lipizzaner with our stallion "Neapolitano Elvira". We joined the combined presentation of the diverse horse breeds. And performed in a Pas-de-Deux, together with his half-brother, Neapolitano Romania. Please find an impression.

@ Andreas: "Horse Event" is a yearly 3-days equestrian event, nowadays organized on the area of the national equestrian academy in Deurne (in the south of The Netherlands). All thinkable parts of the equestrian world are enabled to present themselves in large arena's and exhibition halls. All studbooks of various horse breeds (and we do have an enormous variety in Holland!) can present themselves. All kind of trainers of various equestrian disciplines are invited to present their points of view. Forums are organized for exchange of experiences and knowledge.

The program is innovative and diverse and, together with the magnificent location, ensures that all horse lovers (30,000 edition 2008) enjoy a unique experience. It doesn’t matter whether they are fanatical competitive riders or whether they are leisure riders, whether they like dressage or western riding: their hunger for knowledge and their willingness to buy is insatiable.."

AntwortenLöschenYes, I think so. Lennard (the rider of Neapolitano Romania) and I both agreed that this Pd2 should be performed more often. (And should be improved ;-) - we just practiced 2x)
It was really fun to do. And the brothers do accept each other! And fit to each other.
I received more pictures, on which also Neapolitano Romania can be seen. I will add them to the gallery.
