You are very brave to edit anything on Wikipedia! I have found some of the people there (who consider themselves "expert" on everything) are very rude and obnoxious. They attack anyone who does not agree with them. I am not brave enough to face them down. I thought the article on the Spanish Riding School to be informative and well written. I love the history of the SRS, but also I am fascinated by the small details of day to day life there.
>>"no, it's fine! I don't mind answering your questions on H & D !!!"<<
Hi, Thank you so much, I have so many questions! Many of them may seem unimportant to most people, but I just want to know! Here are my first questions:
When riding with double bridle, do you always use 3 reins in one hand and 1 in the other, or is it just for SRS? Why is it done that way?
How do you decide which horse will do exercises above the ground? And how do you decide which exercise each horse will do?
What time do you start every morning? Do you have a regular 8 hour day, or do you work until you have accomplished whatever needs to be done?
How many of the school horses do you usually ride?
How involved are you in the day to day care of the horses or is all of that done by the stable staff?
Do the stallions have any turn out time in Vienna? If not how do you keep them from becoming bored in their stalls?
Again, thank you so very much for your patience with my questions.

Well, believe it or not it was horrible for me as well. Now it's fine, they accepted me.
AntwortenLöschenMaybe it is time for me to try again, in my own field.
