There is a SRS saddle for sale in EBay USA. I thought some of you might be interested in this. Also the seller offers some history details about the making of these saddles. My ignorance in this respect is complete so I cannot offer any comments on the authenticity of the information.

I believe that saddles for the SRS are made by SPIRIG. This appears to be one that was used for the White Stallion Productions and Mr. Lashinsky. Andreas, can you clarify?
AntwortenLöschenAs the seller appears to be Gary Lashinsky of "World Famous Lipizzaners (one of the travelling shows in the U.S.), and he is also a Board Member of the Lipizzan Association of North America and does travel to Vienna and around the world with his horses, I would think these saddles are authentic and the description true. Lovely opportunity!

And, as I read the eBay listing, it fairly clearly states that this saddle was owned by an American group which presents Lipizzan stallions in the US. There are several such groups: Tempel Farms, White Stallion Productions (Lashinsky's "World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions") and Hermmann's "Royal Lipizzan Stallions" based in Florida

Also, the ad states the saddles were used at a performance for the King of Baharain - a trip that World Famous made just over a year ago. Although what "effect" that would have on the saddles...???? Lovely saddles and a lovely opportunity still!
